Welcome to Grants
Pass! The
Jewel of the Pacific Northwest,
we boast not only the finest climate and
best fishing, but
also the largest per-capita concentration of antiques dealers, shops & malls in the World!
Whether you're just browsing casually or
intensively searching for some special, hard-to-find item, you'll find that our dealers are as friendly as they are knowledgable—always ready to
go the extra mile to assure a pleasant and productive antique buying
experience.
While
you're here,
be sure to visit the many other shops in our charming and
historic downtown, where each business projects its own unique character,
offering specialty items and services which may be difficult to find
elsewhere.
After shopping
for antiques, be sure to
spend some time at Riverside Park. With picnic facilities, clean
restrooms, and a nice playground for the kids and grandkids, the park has a
way of slowing the pace of your busy day while preserving and showcasing a bit of the ancient
forest, all within walking distance of downtown. Enjoy a relaxing and calming
effect as you meander
your way through the tall majestic pine trees, or clamber aboard a jetboat
and take a rip roaring ride through Hellsgate on the Wild and Scenic Rogue
River!
Old
Town Antique Mall
On the West side of S.W. Sixth, between H & I Streets
in historic downtown Grants Pass
!
Okay,
it's true. We're not the only antique shop in town, we're just
the best! But what the heck, seeing as you're already here you might
want to check out
our competition. Well, maybe after lunch, but first (If you're in Grants Pass on the
weekend) you really ought to look into
the "Swaptique" thing that's been going on at the Big Y Swap Meet:
Big Y Swaptique
Head on down Sixth Street until you cross the Caveman Bridge and
when you get to the fork in the road, take it*! Seriously, that's the
Big Y (also known colloquially as the "South" Y) and the Swap
Meet is in the middle of it all, a huge indoor AND outdoor affair (or at least when
the climate cooperates...) Right across from Bi-Mart if you went right
and Papa John's Pizza if you went left, it's where our three State Highways
connect—easy to get in, easy to get out, and with plenty
of free parking too!
*especially
if it's hallmarked sterling!
