Christmastime at Old Town

Perhaps the best answer I've heard any antique dealer give for why they do what they do is the annual Christmas party at the Old Town Antique Mall.  A pot-luck affair, it's anyone's guess what the bill of fare willl include, but it's always quite a feast — and being a good customer alone is not likely to secure you an invite (Old Town has THOUSANDS of good customers, but seating space for only a hundred or so...)

So, if you're looking forward to a truly Merry Christmas in Grants Pass, Oregon, your best bet is to clean out your attic and gather up all your vintage and ancient treasures, then start getting up an hour or two before dawn every Friday and Saturday morning and augment your collection with choice goodies from local yard, garage and estate sales, then get on down to Old Town (324 SW Sixth Street) and rent yourself a booth or showcase!

Will you get rich?  Probably not, but most likely you'll make a few extra bucks and have a... well,  interesting time doing it — and one thing is for certain, you will be invited to the Christmas Party!
